Shipwreck In Hell Bay

Mounts Bay Smugglers

The Wreckers

The tradition of claiming goods
washed ashore was known as
'The Harvest Of The Sea'.
In the days of yore locals would sail out
to meet merchant ships homeward bound
and 'trade' with the captains.
Cornwall's granite coast has
been the scene of many a wreck.
